Trey Hardy – Assistant Principal, Chapel Hill High School

I proudly serve as an Assistant Principal at Chapel Hill High School, bringing over a decade of experience in education and a deep commitment to supporting students, teachers, and the broader school community.

I began my educational journey at Chapel Hill High School from 2007 to 2011, where I worked as a Special Education teacher. During this time, I developed a passion for building strong relationships with students and empowering them to succeed both in and out of the classroom. My early years in the district sparked a lifelong dedication to creating inclusive and supportive learning environments where all students can thrive.

After my time at Chapel Hill, I continued to expand my impact in education by serving in a variety of teaching and leadership roles. I gained valuable experience in curriculum development, instructional coaching, and campus leadership, always with a focus on student growth and teacher support. These experiences equipped me with a strong foundation in instructional leadership and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.

Returning to Chapel Hill High School as an administrator represents a meaningful homecoming for me. I am honored to once again serve the district where my career began and to partner with the dedicated educators, families, and community members who make Chapel Hill such a special place.

I believe that education is most powerful when it is student-centered, relationship-driven, and rooted in high expectations. My leadership philosophy emphasizes building trust, fostering collaboration, and ensuring every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with family, supporting local community events, and continually learning as both an educator and leader.
