Academy of Technology and Engineering

The Academy of Technology and Engineering centered around applied science and mathematics, including a variety of engineering fields. These particular educational-focused skills make candidates extremely employable as the demand only increases each year as well as using technology to solve complex problems.

The five featured programs of study in the Academy of Technology and Engineering are:

    • The Audio/Video Production program of study explores the occupations and educational opportunities associated with the production of audio and visual formats for various purposes, such as TV broadcasts, advertising, video production and motion pictures.
    • The students will focus on designing, planning, managing, building, and maintaining the built environment. The construction technology course refers to the collection of innovative tools, machinery, modifications, software, etc. used during the construction phase of a project that enables advancement in field construction methods, including semi-automated and automated construction equipment.
    • The engineering program of study focuses on the design, development, and use of engines, machines and structures. CTE learners will learn how to apply science, mathematical methods, and empirical evidence to the innovation, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of different manufacturing systems.
    • The Graphic Design and Multimedia Arts program of study explores the occupations and educational opportunities with designing or creating graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, or logos.
